Join us on June 24, 2026, from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (EDT) for a Lunch & Learn hosted by Shutts & Bowen with food provided by BTC.
This session will feature John Greene of Sustainable Water Infrastructure Group, LLC (SWIG) and will explore innovative stormwater treatment technologies designed to help engineers and developers meet Florida’s new state stormwater criteria under SB 7040.
The discussion will focus on SWIG’s patented Phosphorus Elimination System (PES) and Organic Nitrogen Elimination System (ONE), including how these systems can be used independently or together to address nutrient removal and improve water quality outcomes in development projects.
Attendees will gain insight into:
• Florida’s updated stormwater criteria under SB 7040
• Phosphorus and nitrogen removal strategies
• How PES and ONE systems function independently and together
• Additional treatment benefits including suspended solids, metals, and pathogen removal
• Practical applications for engineers and developers navigating stormwater compliance
This session is designed to provide valuable perspective for developers, engineers, planners, and land professionals involved in stormwater management and infrastructure planning.
