Sarah serves as a Lead Market Ambassador for the Sacramento Market and brings more than 23 years of experience across land development, construction, and real estate. As a Land Acquisition Manager for K. Hovnanian Homes and a licensed California broker, she identifies new market opportunities, sources land, and guides projects from entitlements through horizontal construction and into home sales. Her career has been built on strong relationships, strategic thinking, and a passion for creating communities that people are proud to call home.
As the founder of the Sacramento Market, Sarah has been instrumental in building one of Ladies in Land's strongest and most engaged communities. We selected Sarah as this month's Ambassador Leader of the Month for her vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for women to connect, learn, and lead. From growing the market from its very first member to establishing corporate sponsorships and educational programming, she has created a welcoming environment where women can support one another while advancing both their careers and the industry.

Ellie is a valued member of the Sacramento Market and an experienced professional in the land development industry. As a Dry Utility Consultant with Teichert Energy & Utilities Group, she partners with land developers and homebuilders to navigate California's evolving electric, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure requirements, helping projects move efficiently from planning through development. After beginning her career with PG&E more than a decade ago, Ellie has spent the past two years building the joint trench design and consulting department at Teichert Energy & Utilities Group.
Known for her collaborative approach, industry expertise, and passion for problem-solving, Ellie is a wonderful part of the Ladies in Land community. She enjoys working alongside developers, builders, engineers, and utility providers while helping projects successfully move from planning through construction.
Beyond her professional expertise, Ellie is an active member of the Sacramento Market and the Ladies in Land Education Committee, where she is committed to expanding her knowledge of the land development process beyond the utility sector.
