Jael Wagoner, PLA, ASLA

We are thrilled to shine this month’s spotlight on Jael Wagoner, a dynamic leader and passionate advocate for diversity in land development. Based in Raleigh, Jael has been a refreshing and inspiring voice in the industry—bringing not only her deep expertise but also a genuine commitment to inclusion and community-building.
As Vice President of Community Design at Qunity, Jael brings over 20 years of experience in land development, landscape architecture, and planning. Her portfolio spans a wide range of sectors—from public parks and healthcare campuses to aviation and energy projects—each shaped by her thoughtful, purpose-driven approach to design.
Jael’s leadership extends beyond her professional role. She’s been a fabulous and active member of the Raleigh chapter of Ladies in Land, consistently encouraging her entire team to get involved and contribute. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her presence has helped foster a more engaged, diverse, and collaborative community.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Jael exemplifies service and dedication in all she does. She is also deeply involved in professional organizations, including NCASLA, where she currently serves as Member-at-Large for Awards (2023–2025), and has chaired the NCASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture since 2021.
Jael’s impact is felt not only in the spaces she helps shape but also in the people she uplifts along the way. We’re honored to celebrate her as our June Member Spotlight!
