Women were working across every stage of land development — but there was no centralized space designed to elevate them.
What started as one gathering quickly became a national movement.
Today, we are expanding across cities and universities, building an ecosystem of education, leadership, and opportunity for women shaping the built environment.

Building the Future Pipeline
The Jacksonville Market is working to create stronger connections between local college students and the land development industry through its Local Collegiate Network.
The Market is building relationships with Jacksonville University, Edward Waters College, and the University of North Florida (UNF) to introduce students to career opportunities within land development and connect them with professionals working across the industry.
Current efforts include a Career Day with Edward Waters College, featuring women in the land industry who will share their career paths and opportunities in the field. Jacksonville is also working with UNF to explore mentorship and sponsorship opportunities that provide students with greater access to Ladies in Land and the local industry.
Expanding the Value of Professional Education
The Jacksonville Market is working to expand the professional value of Ladies in Land education by creating greater access to industry resources, certifications, and continuing education opportunities.
Local efforts include expanding the Ladies in Land education and resource library, increasing awareness of available Zonda and CCMC certifications, and pursuing opportunities for qualifying professionals to earn continuing education credits through Ladies in Land educational programming.
The Market is also working with local industry professionals and organizations to explore continuing education opportunities for CE/PE professionals, adding another layer of professional development to the education available through Ladies in Land.
