  • Thomas & Hutton 682 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard Mount Pleasant, SC, 29464 United States (map)

Join us on April 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (EDT) for a Lunch & Learn led by Sydni Redmond, Senior Ecologist & PWS with Passarella & Associates. The session will focus on Wetland Delineation and Listed Species Considerations from a land development perspective. The Lunch and Learn will be hosted by Thomas & Hutton and Passarella & Associates will be providing lunch.

The discussion will explore how early identification of wetlands and protected species habitat plays a critical role in understanding long-term development constraints, regulatory requirements, and potential project costs. Sydni will walk through the environmental indicators professionals use when identifying wetlands and listed species habitat and explain how these factors influence site planning, permitting strategies, and overall project feasibility.

Attendees will gain insight into:

  • How wetland delineations are identified in the field

  • Environmental indicators used to locate wetlands and protected species habitat

  • How environmental constraints impact site planning and development feasibility

  • Strategies for addressing wetlands and species considerations during the development process

This session will provide practical knowledge to help developers, engineers, and planners better understand how environmental factors shape project timelines, costs, and regulatory pathways.
