I chose to lead the Raleigh chapter because I am passionate about mentoring women in the industry and continuing my real estate education. 

Becoming the Houston Co-Leader for Ladies in Land is about setting an example for other women who may be new to the development industry. Ladies in Land has allowed me to connect women to each other and inspire what truly drives business — relationships.

Ladies in Land creates opportunities for connection, education, and professional growth that empower women at every stage of their land development careers. I chose to become a DFW chapter leader to help build a strong, supportive platform for women to collaborate within the land development industry and explore issues unique to the North Texas market.  

I became a chapter leader for Ladies in Land to help create a community where women in land acquisition and development feel supported, empowered, and connected. I’m passionate about fostering opportunities for mentorship, education, and leadership growth for the next generation of women shaping our industry.

I chose to become a Ladies in Land chapter leader because I’m passionate about empowering women in an industry where we are still underrepresented. Being a leader in land acquisition for women means creating a space where we can lift each other up, share knowledge, and open more doors for future generations. It’s about showing that leadership in land is not just about closing deals—it’s about building communities, confidence, and lasting connections with other women.

I love that Ladies in Land is an organization that brings female professionals from all corners of the land development industry into one room each month where we can all roll up our sleeves, learn, and grow together.  The relationships that are forged in this environment are unlike any other, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of it.

I chose to be a chapter leader because I strongly believe in the mission of Ladies in Land to provide continuing education. This group is going to provide valuable insights, resources and connections that will help us be successful in our work everyday. My goal as a chapter leader would be to help others in the industry answer some of the burning questions they have by putting together some great presentations. 

Ladies in Land is important to me because it fosters leadership, collaboration, and innovation among women in the development industry. I stepped into leadership because I knew that waiting for change wasn’t enough—I wanted to be part of creating it. I believe in the power of women’s ideas, voices, and dreams to shape industries, transform communities, and inspire generations to come.

I'm passionate about Ladies in Land because I want to highlight the opportunities available for women in the often-underrepresented field of land and property development. By amplifying these pathways, I hope to inspire more women to pursue rewarding careers in this space and contribute to a more inclusive industry.

I am excited for this opportunity to bring Ladies in Land to Charlotte, NC.  Being someone who strongly believes in the importance of networking within the industry, Ladies in Land lays the platform of the key next step to further enhance these relationships, through knowledge sharing.  With so many opportunities to connect, we are in a key position to educate.  Here is the chance to share knowledge to not only provide insight to complex and nuanced elements of this sector but to create a platform for individual growth which ultimately leads to improved confidence and more abundant career opportunities.

I want to be part of an organization that helps women succeed in land development and learn more about the different aspects of development.
