Plans without Panic: A Practical Guide to Reading Engineering Plans for Non-Engineers

  • Teichert Energy and Utilities - Teichert Classroom 400 Sunrise Avenue Roseville, CA, 95661 United States (map)

Join us on March 4, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (PST) for a Lunch & Learn hosted by Teichert Energy and Utilities in the Teichert Classroom.

This session, Plans without Panic: A Practical Guide to Reading Engineering Plans for Non-Engineers, will be led by Chris Duffey & Team from American Engineering and is designed to take the intimidation out of construction drawings.

Chris will break down how to read engineering plans using scale, what key elements to focus on, and the common errors that can delay approvals or create costly issues down the line. Whether you’re reviewing submittals, coordinating with engineers, or sitting in meetings where drawings are passed around the table, this session will give you the confidence to actively engage with what’s in front of you.

Attendees will walk away better equipped to spot red flags before documents reach an approving agency’s desk—saving time, money, and most importantly, headaches.

Lunch Provided. RSVP Required.
