This session, “From Source to Supply: Inside Advanced Water Purification,” will feature Andrew Price, Water Production Superintendent, and Jeremy Smithson, Water Facilities Supervisor, of the City of Phoenix and will provide an overview of the Pure Water Phoenix program and the Advanced Water Purification facility currently under construction as part of the Cave Creek Water Reclamation Plant Rehabilitation project.

The discussion will explore how Advanced Water Purification uses multiple treatment steps to purify recycled water and create a reliable water resource that can support long-term water sustainability efforts in the region. Attendees will gain insight into the project, why it matters, and how it fits into Phoenix’s broader water future.
