This session, “Boots, Bugs, and Boundaries: A Wetland and Stream Delineation Field Trip,” will feature Ellen Strupp of Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) and will provide a hands-on look at how wetlands and streams are identified and evaluated in the field.

• How to recognize wetlands and streams in the field

• What environmental professionals look for onsite
• How agencies evaluate environmental features
• Real-world application of state and federal regulations

This interactive field session is designed to bring environmental policy to life through practical experience—no prior knowledge required. Just bring your curiosity, weather-appropriate clothing, and be ready to get a little muddy.
