From Raw Land to Development Concept

  • DHI Pensacola Office 406 Schubert Drive Pensacola, FL, 32504 United States (map)

Join us on April 30, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (CDT) for a Ladies in Land event hosted at the DHI Pensacola Office.

This session, From Raw Land to Development Concept: The Land Development Full Cycle and How YOU Fit In, will be led by Chapter Leaders in partnership with 68 Ventures.

This discussion will walk through the full life cycle of land development—from the earliest stages of raw land acquisition and concept planning through entitlement, engineering, construction, and delivery of finished communities. The session is designed to help attendees understand where their profession fits within the broader development process while also gaining insight into the many roles and disciplines that contribute to bringing a project to life.

Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of:

  • The full land development cycle from concept to completion

  • How different industry partners contribute at each stage of development

  • Where various professions intersect within the process

  • Key phases where coordination between teams is critical

  • Areas of the development process that many professionals don’t typically see but directly influence project outcomes

This session is designed to broaden perspective, strengthen cross-industry understanding, and help professionals better understand how their role fits into the larger development ecosystem.

RSVP Required. Food Provided.
