Behind the Scenes: Touring Lynn R. Morgan Water Treatment Facility

  • Lynn R. Morgan Water Treatment Facility 1700 Pioneer Place Lafayette, CO, 80026 United States (map)

Join us on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM MT for a unique Ladies in Land experience hosted by the Lynn R. Morgan Water Treatment Facility.

This session will feature a guided tour of the Lynn R. Morgan Water Treatment Facility, led by Chris Harris with the Erie Water Treatment Plant.

Titled “Behind the Scenes: Touring Lynn R. Morgan Water Treatment Facility,” this event will give attendees an inside look at the systems, operations, and processes that keep Erie’s water supply flowing. Participants will see firsthand how water is sourced, treated, and distributed—from Carter Lake, Boulder Reservoir, and Gross Reservoir—and learn how the facility has grown from its original 4 MGD capacity to 16.65 MGD today.

This hands-on learning opportunity is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the infrastructure, planning, and innovation behind one of Colorado’s most vital public utilities.

Lunch will not be provided, but attendees are encouraged to continue the conversation over lunch together afterward for additional networking and discussion.

Tour provided.
