Navigating Atlanta’s New Wetland and Tree Ordinances: 2026 and Beyond

  • Forestar Group 3330 Cumberland Boulevard Southeast Atlanta, GA, 30339 United States (map)

Join us on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM EDT for an engaging Lunch & Learn in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted by Forestar.

This session, “Navigating Atlanta’s New Wetland and Tree Ordinances: 2026 and Beyond,” will be led by Mark Ray of Ray Ecological Applications.

The Atlanta City Council has unanimously passed major updates to the Tree Protection Ordinance (TPO)—the first overhaul in more than 25 years. Mark will break down what these changes mean for future developments within the city, the implications for developers and land professionals, and how to prepare for compliance in 2026 and beyond.

In addition, the session will explore national changes to Wetland impacts and how they intersect with local regulations, providing a broader perspective on environmental due diligence.

This discussion is designed to equip industry professionals with the knowledge needed to anticipate, adapt, and thrive under these new regulatory frameworks.

Lunch provided. RSVP required.
