Join us on August 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (CDT) for a special field event hosted by LJA, with breakfast provided by Inframark.
This session, “Behind the Pipes: A Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour,” will feature Meredith McCall and Katie May of Inframark and will provide a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most critical pieces of infrastructure supporting growth and development.
The event will begin with breakfast and a presentation covering the permitting process for wastewater treatment plants, how these facilities operate, and their role in serving growing communities. Following the presentation, attendees will board a shuttle for an exclusive guided tour of the treatment plant, offering a firsthand look at the process from influent to effluent.
Attendees will gain insight into:
• The wastewater treatment plant permitting process
• How wastewater treatment systems function
• The role of treatment infrastructure in development and growth
• Operational and regulatory considerations
• Real-world applications through a guided facility tour
This session is designed to provide valuable perspective for developers, engineers, land professionals, public finance professionals, and municipal utility district stakeholders interested in the infrastructure that supports successful communities.
