This session, “Understanding Traffic Impact Analyses (TIAs) in the Charlotte Metro Area,” will feature Laura Reid of Kimley-Horn and will provide an overview of the fundamentals of Traffic Impact Analyses (TIAs) and their role in the development process.

The discussion will explore what TIAs are, why they are critical, and how they align with regulatory requirements in the Charlotte metro area. Attendees will gain insight into key components of a TIA, local jurisdictional expectations, and how to navigate the process for successful project approval.
