Featuring Dennis Hendrix from Crossroads Utility Services & Melinda Salazar from BGE, Inc., this tour will explore the conversion of a membrane plant to a conventional treatment facility and highlight the key differences between these technologies. Learn firsthand about the upgrades, benefits, and challenges of each treatment method and gain valuable insights into what developers and engineers should consider when planning wastewater solutions.

What to Know Before the Tour:
Please plan to wear jeans and closed-toe shoes or tennis shoes—we’ll be spending most of our time outdoors at the treatment facility. While there is a small indoor lab and motor control center, the majority of the tour will take place outside.
☀️ Pro tip: Dress for the weather and stay hydrated—we’ll have coolers with water on-site to help keep everyone cool.
📄 Waiver Required:
All attendees will need to complete a waiver and release form before participating in the tour. We’ll have printed copies available at check-in, or you can print and bring a signed copy with you to save time. (this will be sent to you by the local Chapter Leader once signed up)
